Two Months Old!

Hard to believe 2 months has passed since we met our wonderful Mr. Tallet! I took some pictures of him on his 2 month birthday. As you can see, he was not impressed. I am not happy with any of them and I want to take more, but I still think they are incredibly cute. I love his grumpy face!

Tallet Hates Tall Fireman Paul

I absolutely love this vidoe of Tallet. I have watched it countless time. It is just so adorable. Eric was singing to him and he didn't like it. We would make him smile and then Eric would sing and he would cry over and over again. I think he was scared of the loudness and deepness of Eric's voice.

This video makes me realize that my boy is growing, and that he gets scared of things now. The other day I was nursing him and I thought the dogs got into the garbage so I shouted at them to get out of there, and he jumped and starting wailing right away. It's kinda cute how sensitive he is. Guess Eric and I cant scream at each other anymore! :p

Keeping Busy

As cheesy and cliche as this sounds, I enjoy being a Mom more and more everyday. As Tallet learns and grows I fall more and more in love with him. I am still in awe of this amazing blessing from God!

Lately I have been keeping busy (in my SMALL amount of spare time) with making bath stuff, making christmas gifts, wrapping presents and cleaning the house. We had a ugly sweater party the other day and it was alot of fun. I planned a bunch of games to play and we had a great turnout. Tallet was great that night! It was good to have people over.

Tallet has slept through the night a few times in the last couple weeks. Although recently that has stopped, but he still only gets up once during the night to eat and is very easy to get back to sleep. I don't feel sleep deprived any more. In fact I am probably getting more sleep than I did when I was working.

I feel much more in a groove and I feel alot more like myself now.

Tallet is smiling A LOT and cooing and talking. It is the cutest thing in the world. He also has let out two little laughs in the past two days. I can't wait for him to start giggling. He is SO close, and sometimes it looks like he wants to but can't. He likes standing and it seems like he is dancing sometimes. We got a new tummy time mat as a gift and he has reached and grabbed the toys a couple time. It is always the highlight of my day when he does that! lol

Breastfeeding is still uncomfortable but I have learnt to deal with it. I know it is best for Tallet and I have confidence it will not always be like this.

I am having so much fun with him! It makes me want lots more babies!

Speaking of new babies, Eric and I decided we were going to get a doula the next time around. I know they cost money, but we have to have the next one in a hospital because of my c section. I really want to have a VBAC and I think having someone knowledgable there to support me the whole time will help. Also we have to wait at least a year to start trying for another baby if we want a VBAC. I really want to do all I can to avoid another C-section because the recovery as brutal, I didn't get to be awake when my baby was born, and my first few hours with him are foggy because of the anaesthesia.  NOT ideal at all. Has anyone every had a doula? I would love a midwife but I know they are etxtremely hard to come by in Manitoba

Here are some recent pictures of my baby boy!
