WOW!

It has been FOREVER since I posted on here! Sorry! I have been so busy and we don't have internet at home, I just haven't had a chance!! Lots has happened I am sure since my last post. My husband turned 23 (SO OLD!), we went to the ex, we bought a new dog! My puppies are so grown up and eating and wobbling around. They grow so fast! I wish I could put some pictures on. Andrew is supposed to be doing our internet this weekend, so I will do it them.

We did something very spur of the moment last night. We bough another Irish Setter. He is 6 months old and is in Minnesota. He was the right price and we had to act fast or he would be gone, and we would never find another one at that price, thats for sure! We were thinking of getting a puppy in August, so this is a little bit unplanned for us. I still can't beleive we will have another big dog. Maeve is going to be so pumped to have a boyfriend. He is not neutered either, so we are thinking we might breed them next year! I am looking forward to going on a road trip with my husband in our new car! It won't be for long though, unfourtunatley. I have too many other animals to take care of at home! Here is a picture of the new guy:

The Big Clean

Right now I am preparing my mind for cleaning my house. I have been doing little bits at a time, but now it is time for it to be overhauled, and I know it needs to be today. It is way out of hand!! My living room will probably only take me a couple minutes, because it already is in good shape from prior cleanings. I just need to tidy and dust. The kitchen isn't to bad either. I need to clean the cupboards out of the bathroom, and the spare room... URGH! It is such a disaster and need to be totally cleaned out! I should go make my husband some lunch!

Where I Am At

I haven't talked about my spiritual life alot on here, mostly because there has not been that much of one lately. However in the past month, I have grown so much. I never stoped believing or anything, but I feel like I just faded away. Ever since I have been listening to the music on The Message on XM Satellite radio., I have felt such an attitude change. I pray more. I think more about my actions and words in front of the people at work. I used to avoid talking about youth/church related things. But now I am not trying to hide it. I LOVE the music I have been listening to and I have at least 10 cds that I want to get now! I have such a desire now to read the bible and learn more. I am very excited about what God had instore for me and what He wants to teach me.

Please pray that I will keep growing more and more each day!

I survived!

I am now officially done my first week of bootcamp, and I feel great! I am really enjoying it so far. I love that everyday we go she always has a whole new set of exercises for us to do. It is nice to mix things up. I wasn't even that sore today! Today I really pushed myself, I found it worked well to coach myself in my head to keep going, it made me go harder!

I relaxed for a bit when I got home and then worked with my horse for an hour. I went for a short bike ride with Maeve so she could get some exercise. I love the new lifestyle that I am starting. I feel so much better than when I would just sit around after work.

I have been writing down some of the band I like on The Message, here is a list of the ones I have so far:
  • Aaron Shust
  • Robbie Seay Band
  • Rush of Fools
  • Fee
  • Phil Wickham
  • Jeremy Camp
  • Matt Maher
  • Chris Tomlin
  • Seabird
  • Needtobreathe
  • Matthew West
  • Tenth Avenue North
  • Caleb Rowden

Have you ever heard any of them? What do you think? Which CD's would you reccomend? Is there any other bands you think I will like?

Happiness

The other day I realized...I am happy! I love my life right now! I love where we live, I love my job, I have an awesome husband, we make enough money, I am able to have lots of animals. I really have nothing to complain about, but alot to be thankful for. Thanks God, for the wonderful life you have given me, I feel very blessed!
Here is a picture of my favorite guy and his favorite dog, both of which put a smile on my face every day!

Tuesday - Motivation

This Tuesday I had alot of motivation!

In the morning I slept a little bit extra cause Dr. Taylor was coming in the morning to check out a lump on Zaiyah. It turns out it is called a sarcoid, which is a benign tumour. I have to apply this creme that is supposed to burn it off. Then I went to Anita's and help Lisa with a dental on her horse. After that I had to go back to regular work in Gimli. It was a pretty slow day and I didn't do too much.

The motivation really started when I started driving home. I stopped at Andrew's shop to clean it but didn't have my key so I had to go home. When I got home I decided to spend all evening outside. It was great! I biked to the farm and viseted with Kathy and saw her baby horses, then I biked to Travis's amd saw his new puppy. When I got home I brough my pups outside and set up a table and ate supper outsite. Then I planted flowers in my bed and in 4 pots. They look great! I also planted my Roma tomato plants. I hope they grow really well cause I want to make lots of salso and pasta sauce in the fall! After that I spend some time with Zaiyah, walking her over a tarp and through our yard to get her used to new things. She did really great. There were TONNES of bugs, it was crazy. Now alot of them are in the house! I am really happy I spend so much time outdoors lately, I can't wait to do it lots this summer. Right not I am looking for a bistro set so we can sit outside more and eat!!

Right now I am really hungry and I am trying not to snack on something unhealthy!

Monday - The Beginning

This week is the start of a new life for me. I started Rose's Fitness Boot Camp in Riverton with Jay and Sarah. I am pretty excited about it. I was nervous before I got there, but Rose is REALLY awesome and very encouraging and makes me want to work harder. It is three days a week with homework on the days you are not there.

We had a fitness test today that I pretty much failed. I did do more push ups than I thought I could though! On the last day we will another test to see how far we progressed. I am really excited about this. I think it is the thing I need to start me off. I know once I am in better shape I will want to work out more. I am also really glad to have people go with and keep accountable with. We also agreed we would cook one healty meal each per week, to help us eat better.

Please pray that I will be able to stick to this and that I can finally get in shape and be healthy! Thanks!

Uprising - Rebirth

Last week was VERY busy in preparation for the weekend. I was also working in Arborg all week, which was interesting. I actually like working in Arborg now. Meghan is gone now, which sucks, but the new girl, Coralee is pretty cool.

Anyways, on Thursday night we hauled what felt like our whole house up to Beaver Creek Bible Camp. We took all the chihuahuas, 8 in total! I couldn't leave them with someone all weekend, so it was either take them all or stay at home, so I chose the former. It actually turned out really well, they got looked after, but there were not a distraction at all! Actually most people didn't even know there were there until we packed up on the last day!!

The weekend was awesome! The weather sucked, it rained all day Friday which made everything gooey and soaked all weekend. You just had to come to terms with the fact your feet will always be soaked and you will be filthy and it was OK. We still played lots of games outside. The speaker was OK, I don't feel like he really spoke to me personally, but I hope that he did to the kids, because the weekend was for them, not me.

The praise and worship was AWESOME! I really enjoyed it. It was probably my favorite part of the weekend.

The food was also awesome, we had an Italian themed weekend, and I think for the most part everybody loved the food, even if it was a bit different!

On Saturday night we had a band come out, the Arborist. They were REALLY good. They did a lot of praise and worship songs and some of their own. They were great. It was totally worth having them out.

The games were a lot of fun and the kids really got into it. I was scared they would be dragging their feet.

I really think the weekend was a success. I don't think we are doing it next year though, we really don't want it taking away from Abundant Springs. We have talked about a winter retreat or just saving it for two years. We definitely agreed that our youth groups should get together more often!

This is the only picture I have from the weekend! It is of Steve Brandt helping Steven Plett get into the trailer that was locked and we don't have the keys for so we could stay in there! Thanks guys!

A Name Change

I slightly changed the name of my blog. I wasn't liking the sound of notes too much, and I think diary is more personal. And I like to be open and honest here.

A break...

It had been a while since I posted on here, sorry. I had really been trying to keep this thing updated, but I had a really busy week, but there is lots to share about, so I will start from the beginning!
Paris had 4 very beautiful, healthy, LARGE puppies on Sunday. There are 3 boys and 1 girl. The black and white is the female, and I just love her! I would really love to keep her, but my friend Meghan is probably going to buy her! They are just over a week old now and they are very healthy! I am so happy to have an easy litter this time, the last one was so hard! I can't wait until they are running around and playing!

New Lives!

I have two new lives to post about today!!

Yesterday we went to Dahlen and Chantal's wedding! It was great! It was the first time I have been to a wedding where both of them were my friends! There was alot of crying. It was a very emotional wedding. Not sad tears at all, tears of joy and happiness. I am almost crying thinking of it now! But anyways, the couple looked great, the wedding was beautiful and I had a good time. The food was good too! It is actually hard to believe they are married now. LOL. It will sink in once they get home.
Another very exciting thing is happening right this very moment!! Paris is having babies. She has three so far. Two little boys and one girl. The girl is just gorgeous! I want to keep here. She is black and white, with lots of white on her face and her paws. SO ADORABLE! She is not done yet though, so when she is I will post pictures and stuff. They are so ugly at this stage though!
