Where to?

It has been a while since I did a real post! Busyness will do that do you. I have been really busy the last couple months with my full time job, partylite, youth and my animals at home. I check others blogs, but I don't really have time to sit down and post on my own!

Partylite has been going really great for me, but I have had alot of shows in Riverton and it will die out soon. I really need to have a few shows in Arborg, Gimli and area. I would also like a few more in the city, just to try and expand my customer base. I really enjoy doing it, but my house is in a constant state of disrepair. It is a disaster. I have so much Partylite stuff and no where to put it.

Actually I am stuggling with that in our house. We have no room to put anything. Eric keeps saying I should go through things and get rid of them. Well I have done that 3 times and there is still alot of stuff! We have no storage in our trailer, just in the spare room. I have no idea where we are going to keep stuff when we need the spare room. I would love to build an addition, but Eric thinks it is not worth it. Just for my sanity I think it is worth it.

I am finally puppyless!! It is so nice having trained dogs around. It is so quiet in our house now, though. Paris got bred by accident last week, and I am pretty sure she is preggo. ARGH! Unplanned. And also Maeve is in heat and will hopefully having puppies too. That one will be planned. But it kinda foils our plans to go somewhere hot in Jan/Feb.

That leads to my next issue: Where should we go? Because of some circumstances and life not working out the way we planned, we have decided to travel again in spring! The trouble is we need to decide where to go. There are alot of places I would love to go. Here are the options and the pros and cons of each place.

1. Back to Greece and to Turkey - We love Greece and it hurts my heart not to be there right now. I want to go back so bad. We also want to go to Turkey this time and travel around there. Something we haven't done yet. But we have already been to Greece twice. But we have never been to Turkey. We are just not sure if we should go back to something we love or try somethig new. The flights would be expensive but it would not cost much to travel around.

2. Germany - We would love to visit Dayna and travel around Germany a bit more. But we have already been there twice, but never when it was warm. Plus we could probably find a good deal on flights.

3.Brazil- We have always said this was the next place we wanted to go. I am sure is it beautiful there, and it is also cheap. The flights would probably be pricey though. And there is very large spiders there and I think I might die if I saw one.

4. Orlando, Florida - I have always wanted to go to Disneyworld my whole life. I would really like to go and enjoy it myself without kids. I don't think I am too old to go. Then again I wouldn't know. The only thing is it would be a little pricier than some other trips. We could go further away and for longer than we could if we went here, for the same price.

5. Hong Kong - Eric's uncle lives there, and he would really like to go visit him. I honestly used to have no desire to go to that part of the world, but I am sure it would be fun and that Cam would have tonnes of great ideas of what we could do. Plus the great wall of China would be amazing. We could also stop in BC for a few days and visit Eric's auntie there, which I would really like to do. I would rather drive there though...Flights there would be expensive and I am not sure how much everything else would be.

6. Somewhere tropical- This is probably the cheapest option, but the least exciting to me. I am not the type to lay on the beach all day. I would get bored. I would need to get out and do something. I don't really want to be stuck in a resort all day long. Eric really wants to do this though, and it quite dissapointed with the dog situation. This is what we planned to do from the start. But now that we can't go in jan or feb, that just leaves March and by then it is warming up. And before christmas is too soon.

What do you think? Where do you think we should go? Do you have any suggestions?

I'm not really a travel person, but I think you have to figure out what kind of experience are you looking for. For example, going to Europe or Brazil would not just be a warm place to go, but also a cultural experience. Orlando would be a warm place with a focus on attractions, and not so much a cultural experience.

We'll be going to Mexico in February 2010 for Sarah's brother's wedding; probably the only way Sarah would get me down there! I do intend to buy a sombrero and a poncho while I'm down there though...

I want all of those experiences though! I can't pick! I am one for the cultural experiences. They are my fave, but I would really love to do the Orlando thing too....ARGH!

I'm with Eric on this one! I am longing (already) for our Mexico trip. Yes we will go to a resort type place, and I do intend to sit on the beach, however depending on time I would love to do some cultural stuff too. See more than just the beach! Plus there are always decent prices to be had on this type of trip!
