Seriously. I know I have cute puppies here, but give me sometime to sort this house out. Right now it is really overwhelming and nobody needs to see that. I have Partylite boxes and bags everywhere, fabric and quilts all over the place, quilts that need to be made,puppies in almost every room, pee pads on the floor, a fresh pile of poop every hour, curtain shards laying on the ground, cat toys scattered, papers on every flat surface, christmas decorations in bins and still on display, books in every line of sight, blankets on the floor, dishes in the sink but however most of them are clean, couches that need to be wiped down and a bathroom that needs to be clean, floors that need to be mopped and swept, a rug that needs to be torn out and laundry that has been in the washing machine for a week.
Where do I start? I really don't know and that is why this house is like this. I just don't know what I need to do first. This. Is. Crazy. I need to stop being lazy and get up and do something about it. I need to work my butt off until this house is organized like I want to be. This house right now is not me. I like to be organized. I really do.
So just for now, please don't come over. I will let you know when it is safe.

i say, start a load of laundry and then attack one room at a time, taking laundry breaks of course...
oh!oh!oh! light bulb moment!!! maybe you could have a prize after each room was done.... i'd go for a big bowl of ice cream after the living room, cookies after he kitchen, and so on... :) or maybe 10 minutes on facebook? you would have a goal! (aside from the cleanliness and organization)
in grade twelve i took fam. stud. in the LC and had SUUUUUUCHHHHH a hard time concentrating. i started to buy 5 10-cent candies during last break. for every set of questions i finished i coudl eat 1 fuzy peach. it worked wonders! :) and i always got 5 sets done! ma, what could have happened if i'd ought 10 candies?!?!?!
but maybe you dn't get thrills out of such things as prizes?!?!
