My ultimate reward was to buy a Lululemon outfit when I reached my goal weight. That is a great goal, but right now it seems far off and unattainable so I decided to break it down in to smaller goals/rewards. I hope they will be more motivating. Here is what I have thought of:

-When I reach a 10 minute mile in running, I will get a new pair of running shoes. I would love the Nike ones with the sensor that works with my iPod touch!
-For every 10lbs closer to my goal, I will get a pair if running socks from Lululemon.
-When I am 20 lbs away from my goal, I will get a pair of Lululemon running pants!
-When I am 10lbs away from my goal, I will get a Lululemon running jacket.
-When I finally get out of the heavy hitters club for good, I will get a new lens for my camera.

When I reach my goal, I will have a big party with everyone over! You are invited! :)

Wonderful!! It's such a great motivator to have goals and little rewards for yourself! You deserve it, girlie - you've been working so hard. Good for you. You inspire me - I need to start exercising again. Wish I could join you for your party at the end of all this but know I will be there celebrating in spirit! Too bad about will love it there though;) And if you're ever in Florida please let me know - would LOVE to meet up!

great idea to break it down for yourself! I find it VERY hard to stay motivated especially when it comes to exercise...hmmmm, maybe I need some rewards too!
