Turkey Tuesday - Maple Turkey Salad

I posted this several years ago, but it is one of my favorite kinds of salad so I wanted to share it again! It is so sweet and yummy, it hardly tastes healthy but it is!

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Salad Ingredients:
-8 oz salad greens, any kind
-3 oz sliced low fat/ low sodium cheddar cheese, cut into matchsticks
-1 medium tomato, cut into wedges
-8 oz cooked turkey breast, cubed, about 2 cups ( I have used deli turkey cut up, as well)
- 3 Tablespoons sunflower seed kernels

Dressing Ingredients"
-3 Tablespoons sugar free maple-flavored syrup
-1/3 cup raspberry vinegar (the best part!)
-3 Tablespoons olive oil
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-1/2 teaspoon dried basil

Layer salad ingredient into salad bowl. Shake together dressing ingredients and pour over. Toss to coat well and serve immediately. Makes 3 main dish servings. (But I could eat it all myself)

Cholesterol: 63 mg
Sodium: 700 mg
