Crazy Busy Day!

Today was soooo busy! But, suprisingly I am in a good mood. Usually I am dead tired and grumpy after a crazy day like this, but not today! It might have something do to with the fact I just had four days off! But maybe not. It started early too. I had to get up at 6:30 so I could make it in time to feed Kathy's horses and my own. And I almost fell asleep on the way to work. But I am ok!.

My Golden Retriever Dixie is staying at my place for a couple days! I am so excited! I love having big dogs. Eric might not be so pumped that she has to stay in the house, but she is good and she stays on her blanket mostly. Tommorow she is coming to work with me to get her shots and exam and stuff.

Living in a small community is hard in some respects. One of the hardest things that I found is that because people 'seemed' to know others business a lot of the time, then it is assumed that what you think you know is truth. Not so. Just as people probably don't know the full truth of your life Lindsey, I would caution you on thinking you know all about their lives. What you write sounds like speculation. I would really caution you on letting your mind think this way. I can just make you bitter. I'll give you an example so maybe you'll see where I'm coming from...When people in Mennville have babies it seemed to me that they got meals everyday, people came to visit, they got invited out, lots of stuff. When I had Riker, we recieved 2 meals. Hardly anyone visited and no one invited us over for sunday lunch for 5 1/2 months. I was very bitter. I spent hours thinking about why people didn't like us any more. "I must be a bad mother", "I have a horrible child", "They think we should leave", so many horrible thoughts. I found fault in everyone and everything. It took till I actually spoke it outloud and Mark pointed out that all my 'evidence' was taken from my own observations and thought patterns. Once I started letting go of it all and asking God to help me not do that anymore, things got so much better.
Keep in mind, this was my own experience and I'm just including it for reference. You have your own life, your own experiences...just don't let your mind talk you or others down.

I know what you mean, Jobina. I shouldn't just assume that someone said something and that is why we are not in youth. The truth is I know somebody spoke out against us. I don't really know who or what it was about, but I really wish they could have talked to us about why, because now I am left guessing and upset.

That's pretty tough. I know that alcohol issue can be a real big problem with Christians. We seem to find it easier to judge other Christians, even when we do stupid stuff all the time ourselves. I hope you guys can clear up whatever is going on, with a clear conscience, and a heart for God.
