So.... I got a new toy today. A Nikon D3100. I have wanted a DSLR for probably 5 years, and I finally saved enough money up. I tried it out for a bit today, but I still really need to read the manual and go to Black's for my 1 hour tutorial!

I desperately need a new camera. Did you research camera's before buying? I want to buy one but I don't want to do the leg work. I need some recommendations, cost quotes and gadgetry know hows (remember this, I am hopeless with technology)I will quiz you next time we meet. No pressure, really. oh my, your puppies are so adorable!!!! good picture taking :) we are borrowing a really good camera from my SIL and as much as i try, i am so pitiful at getting nice shots..it is fun to keep practicing though when you have a good camera. -lois
